Social Media guru Lainey @iamfashionlaine is back on the podcast, and for a good cause this time… On this bonus episode, we talk about the #WokeUpThisWayChallenge and how YOU can get involved, to promote social wellness.

Promote Mental Wellness – What You Need to Do:

  1. Take a picture of you when you wake up in the morning. No glam, no fabulous outfits etc… This can be a selfie or a photo taken of you in bed.
  2. Tag 3 or more friends to challenge them to post a morning photo.
  3. Mention in your caption that if people don’t want to participate, they must instead, donate money to @ladygaga @btwfoundation which is committed to promoting the wellness of young people and inspiring to create a kinder, braver world.

When Should You Post?

We are all set to post on JUNE 19TH. Get ready, we’ve got some huge people on board! You can upload your photo a few days after as well.

How To Caption Your #WokeUpThisWayChallenge: 

Today, I am standing with @iamfashionlaine to launch the #WokeUpThisWayChallenge and bring some realness back to social media. Discuss in your own words how you want to be a change with how social media and how it has affected people’s idea of happiness since we all compare ourselves to each others ‘perfect lives’ and highlight reels we see in posts. And now, I’m asking YOU to be a part of this challenge too and bring awareness and spread this much-needed conversation around the world. Let’s unite and do this together!
